6th Asia LNG Summit 2011
Oct. 26th –28th Shanghai, China

As the development of human being, natural gas is more and more popular as clean fuel. From this perspective, 21 century is natural gas era. Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) can save a lot of storage space and cost, with the feature of big BTU and high quality. The LNG production and trading are much dynamic for the recent years. The LNG investment will definitely become one of the biggest investments of the world. In 2010, the global LNG market has two trends: 1. the ratio of LNG trading in natural gas business is rising. According to International energy agency, the ratio will up to 40%. 2. the number of LNG importers is increasing, but the volume is still concentrated to the minorities.

In Asia Pacific region, the old LNG consumption pattern which is led by Japan and Korea is changing obviously as the rapid development of LNG market in China, India etc. Asian buyers take much concern about how to secure the LNG supply for their own country. The LNG projects are booming, and Asia Pacific region has become one of the most vibrant areas. After the tsunami in Japan 2010, the demand of nuclear reactor substitute fuel starts to rise,  Japan and other importing countries start to import more volume of LNG, which also spurs the global and Asian LNG market.

For China, due to the unbalanced distribution of natural gas and high-speed economy development with high energy consumption, especially for the east coast area, Chinese LNG market will have an incredible growth and LNG will become the indispensible energy. According to the report of Energy Research Institute of National Development and Reform Commission, till 2020, the natural gas consumption will be 250billion M3, and the gap of LNG demand for China will become large increasingly.

The 6th Asia LNG Summit 2011 will take the booming LNG project as the central part. Based on the specific LNG project, the latest industrial information and potential investment chances can be found. Through the application and implement of the most core technology and equipment in these LNG projects, the industrial elites can share the advanced experiences and seize the industrial developing trend. Besides, this event will gather around Lots of the decision makers of LNG projects, which can create more cooperation opportunities.
